Meal log for Friday July 9, 2021:
BREAKFAST
- Overnight oats with chia seeds, raisins, and chopped khenaizi dates, mixed with almond milk and a drip of maple syrup, topped with apricot jam.
- Bowl of kiwi and banana mixed with soy yogurt and granola, topped with honey.
- Cappuccino made with soy milk.
LUNCH
- Corn on the cob with butter and salt.
- Japanese zosui aka Japanese rice soup with chicken, carrots, and other vegetables.
- Two small pieces of homemade, unsweetened banana bread.
- Decaf iced macchiato made with soy milk.
DINNER
- Opted for intermittent fasting.
Final day of the five day work week, thus had to ensure I did not consume any junky foods. Since lunch came later in the day, it was enough to sustain me through the evening. No point in needlessly eating just for the sake of saying I ate dinner. It will be interesting to see what affect today's meals with have on tomorrows riding, assuming I will be able to hit the tarmac.
