This morning the climate was finally nowhere near as insufferable as it has been in recent days. The more temperate morning made for an enjoyable Sunday metric half century ride.
After taking three consecutive days off thanks to negative side effects from Pfizer poke number two, yesterday I hit the road for a pretty unremarkable ride. This morning I was determined to have a more enjoyable time along the river.
Tuesday morning I received my second Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine shot and a mere six hours later I started feeling negative side effects. On Wednesday I was down and out, feeling like utter garbage and barely functional.
Despite being quite fatigued from Saturday's crazy ride, when I hit the sheets that night I had intended on riding Sunday morning. Nothing, except for maybe a major earthquake, was going to stop me from riding this morning!

Thursday I was utterly exhausted after two consecutive days of little sleep combined with an extremely busy schedule and thus Friday was a recovery day. This morning I was poised to ride at all costs, and after a good nights rest I hopped on Red Chameleon for another lovely dawn ride.
t was nice to get out on the tarmac today not only for exercise, but because it was an absolutely beautiful morning. Hopping on Red Chameleon and doing a 50k was just what the doctor ordered for the latter end of yet another hellaciously busy week.
Tokyo has been drenched with four consecutive days of morning rain, preventing me from hitting the tarmac since last week Thursday. Finally this morning I was able to hit the streets for a morning meditative ride.
I was unable to ride on Wednesday due to early morning meetings preventing me from hitting the road. Knowing I had an 8am meeting on Thursday morning, I was determined to ride, even if it meant postponing breakfast until after the early call.
