Virtual 202530
Back in Namibia, back in the desert, where the road seems endless and the challenge feels like it was made for the soul. This virtual ride has become a favorite, not just for the stunning terrain but for the way it pushes me to perform at a higher level. The desert’s vastness demands more, even in digital form, and today I answered its call. The terrain flows with every turn, winding and weaving through simulated dunes feeling as real as they are relentless. There is something about this route extracting the watts, making the effort feel purposeful, even in the most draining moments.
Today I focused on increasing the wattage, trying to push further and dig deeper. Forty-six kilometers at an average of 126 watts. Each stroke felt powerful, each pedal press pressed harder than before. My legs burned, but there was a beautiful battle in the burn. The higher wattage was not easy, but it was rewarding, forcing me to focus and find the rhythm even when fatigue whispered. The resistance was not just physical. It was mental too. Every uphill climb felt like a test, yet the rhythm never wavered. The terrain kept me engaged, every twist of the road a reminder there is more to discover, more to give.
With the goal of hitting the weekly distance achieved, the momentum continued to build. I have already crossed the threshold, but the drive remains. Sunday still looms, another opportunity to push further, to surpass, to break another barrier.
The streak is alive, the effort feels strong, and with every ride, I find new layers of strength. The desert does not ask for mercy.
It simply demands more. And I am ready to give it.
